Wanted: Change

What is it that you seek to change?  What are the two or three things that you focus on repeatedly, wishing things were different?

Are you focused on external things like your job, your house, your friends or family, your finances, your looks?  Or are you focused on intrinsic qualities like confidence, happiness, peace of mind, self control, or feeling loved?

Whether you focus on outward or inward goals, you may find it difficult to envision the path from here to there.  Consider shifting focus from the destination to the direction.  Change is not coincidental nor sudden, but rather a process. You only need to know the very next step.

Feeling stuck? Without flexibility, we get stuck in patterns. Try something new and specific, focusing on what you think the problem is.  Read a self-help book, hire a life coach, go to a support group, or work with a therapist.  Doing the work takes time and effort but it is not complicated or vague. When your self talk changes, you will start to see changes in your reality.
