Take a moment to think about what you’d like to change. What one or two areas of your life do you focus on?
Are you thinking of external things like your job, your house, your friends or family, your finances, your looks? Or did you identify intrinsic qualities like confidence, happiness, peace of mind, self control, or feeling loved?
Whether you seek inner or outer change, do you struggle to come up with a plan? You may be simply fantasizing without identifying the next step. Change is not random nor is it sudden, but rather it is a direction we move in.
Even if you have made changes at some point in your life, you may feel stuck currently in one area. Feeling stuck is a good time to try something radically different. Try something specific that focuses on what you see as the problem. Consider reading a self help book, hiring a life coach, going to a support group, or working with a therapist. Making changes requires time and effort but it’s not complicated or elusive.
